First-Home Buying Tips
First home buying can be an exhilarating experience, however it can also be a little daunting, especially if you are unfamiliar with contracts, real estate terminology and the negotiation process, or how to go about finding yourself a great Realtor.
Therefore if you are unsure of where to start, sit down with family and friends and talk about their home buying and selling experiences so that you have a better understanding of how the process may unfold. Listen to both the positive and negative sides of every story, as this will then give you valuable insight into what can possibly go wrong and how you can look to avoid a similar situation yourself.
If you are still then unsure of buying your first home, visit your local library or book store, and purchasing any one of a number of first home buying books. These titles give you unbiased information and a plethora of tips and advice, much of which can save you thousands when buying your first home.
Some excellent titles to read -- as voted by Amazon customers -- are as follows:
1) Home Buying for Dummies -- 3rd Edition -- by Eric Tyson
2) 100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask: With Answers from Top Brokers Around the Country -- by Ilyce R. Glink

I totally agree with you "first time buying is exhilarating". Maybe this is because first home buyers don't know what to do, and we are not familiar when it comes to buying.
