Today, realtors, and home buyers and sellers have a wealth of information at their fingertips, and most have harnessed the power that the Internet provides, such as social networking applications, as well as home listing services, real estate agent listings directories, and home mortgage providers that suit their particular needs and circumstances. And with the Internet being such a visual medium, most of these prospective home buyers and sellers are able to see exactly what their money will buy, and what their home could be valued at, before they even contemplate negotiating any deals.

And I just read that the gay community is in the forefront of those who have computers (and use them!). Obviously, with the hardware in hand and such a widespread opportunity, the chances of hitting on just the right home are far greater.
For those shopping in 2009, the wealth of information is sometimes overwhelming, but never really greater than necessary. Technology has become our friend in our continued search for a comfortable resting place.
By the way, there are absolutely no puns in this commentary.
